Being prepared when an opportunity arises and then capturing it. I use “being lucky” as way to describe several photography events that have produced an image that eventually led to a sale or even landing a new client.
In the book Visions of Light, I describe several instances where an opportunity arose and being prepared paid off. The poems in the beginning of the book are a stepping stone to finding out what a poet might make of the many images exhibited. The second half reveals what being prepared is all about.
